Project Description: This project consists of finishing and enclosing the phase 2 construction, a 60’x60’ building, that is currently an open three-sided pole building, that is an attached addition to the fully enclosed phase 1 construction. The scope of the work involves fully enclosing the phase 2 construction with three walls, (10) roll up doors and frames, concrete door sills, concrete floor, 60’ x 60’ x 6” thick, with drains, install concrete aprons on east and west walls matching existing apron, installing electric lights, electric receptacle drop cords, installation of at least two outdoor yard lights, installation of a firewall on the north wall of phase 1, and laying base rock and 3\4’ minus driveway rock outside the phase 2 building.
Additionally, the bid will consist of a concrete floor with drains installed in the completed phase 1 enclosed building. This floor would be approximately 48’x 60’x 6” thick.
Union County Search & Rescue will not accept, receive, or consider any bids unless the offeror is registered, licensed, and bonded with the Oregon State Construction & Builders Board. Also, under ORS 279C.335(2) Union County Search & Rescue, under the best value proposal procurement process, allows for selection of qualified contractors with experience on similar projects. Union County SAR will not accept any late proposals. Union County SAR reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or accept any submittal that appears to not serve the best interest of Union County.
This project is subject to Oregon BOLI prevailing wage laws.
Contractor Site Visit: will be held on June 27, 2022, 9:00 AM
RFP’s Due: All bids can be marked “SAR Building Bid”, and delivered to the Union County Commissioners office, 1106 K Ave, La Grande, OR 97850, by August 15, 2022, 5:00 PM. All bids will be opened and read on that date. Completion date is to be no later than December 1, 2023.
