Computer Services
The Union County Computer Services Department goes by several names, but is often simply referred to as IT.
Our team of two serves all county departments with core technology services, supporting over 400 end user devices, 180 users, 50 network control devices, and 20 server systems.
Our goals:
- Provide timely computer support services to county staff and supported agencies
- Maintain client, server, and network systems
- Support and develop software applications
- Maintain redundant electronic communications systems
- Develop and support GIS mapping systems
- Strive to keep up with fast-paced technology changes and cybersecurity risks
