Vacation of Right-of-Way in Union County, Oregon
Robert and Cynthia Chandler are petitioning the Union County Board of Commissioners to vacate a section of abandoned Palmer Junction right-of-way. This section was abandoned when the road was realigned by the county and both sides of the right-of-way are owned by the Chandlers. The legal description of the area of right-of-way is: That portion of Palmer Junction Road, as described in Union County Road Petition 412, situated within the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26, Township 2 North, Range 39 East of the Willamette Meridian, and lying South of the South right-of-way line of Palmer Junction Road as relocated by deed recorded in Book 156, Page 381 and 382, deed records of Union County. It contains approximately 1 acre.
Union County Commissioners will hear this petition for a vacation of right-of-way on February 18, 2026 at 9:15 am in the Joseph Annex conference room located at 1106 K. Avenue, La Grande.
