NOTICE OF COMMENT PERIOD for UNION COUNTY TITLE III Projects (PL 115-141)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Union County Board of Commissioners are considering the following projects for funding under Title III of P.L. 115-141:
- Union County Search and Rescue – $6,292; UTV Medical Slide-In Unit, litter, shield, straps. Category 2 Search, Rescue and other Emergency Services.
- Union County Emergency Services – $36,810 Total Requests for Category 3, Emergency Services Training and Equipment Purchases to include: $12,587 Rope Rescue Equipment, $8,499 All-Band Radio for Emergency Services Vehicle, and $15,724 for Water Rescue Equipment.
As required by P.L. 115-141, the County will be accepting comments on the proposals until Monday, October 30, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. The project applications are available for review by contacting the Union County Administrative Office, 1106 K Avenue, La Grande, (541) 963-1001.
