Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, a Special District Election will be conducted for the purpose of electing board members to fill the positions and term, including any vacancies, which may exist on the District Boards.

The election will be conducted by mail.  Drop sites for voted ballots are available at each of the City Halls (except Summerville), and at the Union County Clerk’s Office.

Each candidate must file a declaration of candidacy or petition for nomination for office with the Elections Department of Union County.  Necessary forms may be obtained at the Secretary of State’s website, the Special District that you are filing for, or the Union County Clerk’s Office.  All materials relating to filing as a candidate for a Special District must be returned to:

Filings accepted no sooner than February 8, 2025 and no later than 5:00 p.m. March 20, 2025.
