Mt. Emily Recreation Area Advisory Committee in need of Members

The Mt. Emily Recreation Area (MERA) Advisory Committee has positions expiring and needing to be filled. The advisory committee meets approximately 4 times a year to discuss and help guide the management of the MERA and provide recommendations to the Union County Board of Commissioners who make all final decision. 

Positions to be filled:

1. Class I ATV’s/4-wheelers
2. Class IV ATV’s/Side-by-sides
3. Motorized General Public
4. Mountain Bicyclist
5. Grande Ronde Bowman/Archery
6. Non-motorized General Public

The next meeting of the Mount Emily Recreation Area Advisory Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, December 4th at 7:00 PM in the Large Annex Conference Room at 1106 K Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.
