UNION COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
PLAN AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the July 17, 2024, 9:15a.m. Union County Board of Commissioners public hearing to consider an application submitted by the City of La Grande, agent Michael Boquist, for Union County to co-adopt the City of La Grande Land Development Code Ordinance No. 3269, Series 2024, amending/replacing the Goal 9 Economic Development Chapter, and repeals and replaces the former Comprehensive Plan Ordinance 3255, Series 2022, affecting all properties outside of La Grande city limits that are also within the city’s Urban Growth Boundary has been rescheduled to August 7, 2024, 9:15 am, Joseph Annex Building, 1106 K Avenue, La Grande.
The applicable Land Use Regulations are found in Union County Zoning, Partition and Subdivision Ordinance Section 23.05 and Ordinances 1983-8 and 1990-1, Joint Management Agreement. Failure to raise a specific issue with sufficient specificity at the local level precludes appeal to LUBA based on that issue. The application and all information related to the proposal are available for review at no cost and copies can be supplied at a reasonable cost. A staff report will be available for review seven days before the hearing, and can be supplied at a reasonable cost.
